Honda has gone a notch higher. Its new Accord V6 delivers 240ps and comes with an array of technological advantages unmatched in its class. What's more the new Accord line-up, which consists of the 3.0-liter V6 and the 2.4-liter i-VTEC variants, has the most powerful engines in the mid-luxury sedan segment.

The new Accord has redefined what it means to drive in true comfort and convenience. Its plush interior combines elegantly designed instrument panel, generous space, numerous storage area as well as technologically advanced features such as progressive illumination gauges and dual zone control air conditioning system. Further enhancing a more relaxed driving feel is the highly advanced cruise control system that allows the driver to maintain a set speed above 40 km/hr without keeping the foot on the accelerator pedal.
At the heart of the new Accord is an innovative and extensively remodeled 3.0-liter VTEC V6 engine, providing 240ps at 6,250 rpm and torque of 29.3 kg-m at 5,000 rpm and the new 2.4 liter DOHC i-VTEC engine that generates 160ps at peak torque of 22.2 kg-m at 4,400 rpm. Both engines are mated with highly responsive 5-speed automatic transmission with Electronic Throttle Control or sometimes referred to as “drive-by-wire” system. This technology was pioneered on a Honda F-1 racing engine and is also used on Honda CART engines. It allows for an extremely smooth gearshift and contributes to better fuel efficiency at lower emission level.
The new Accord is the only sedan in its class that has an independent double wishbone suspension at the front and an independent five-link double wishbone suspension at the rear. The new Accord also comes with G-CON (G-force Control) technology that controls and absorbs collision impact, Anti-lock Brake System (ABS), Electronic Brake-force Distribution (EBD) that properly distributes the brake-force to all wheels, not to mention the Brake Assist System for rapid and effective response under all circumstances. SRS dual front airbag system is also a standard equipment. In addition, the new Accord offers more convenience through its Wave-blade key with remote controller for keyless window and trunk operation. The new Accord V6 is fitted with the latest safety technology, Honda's Traction Control System (TCS) to prevent wheel-spin, improve handling and increase traction and stability.
