HONDA Cars Philippines Inc. recently introduced the new 2005 CRV model lineup.
The new CRV comes with a 2.4-liter DOHC i-VTEC engine with 160 horsepower, electronically controlled five-speed automatic transmission, and a Drive-by-Wire throttle.
It also features Real Time four-wheel drive system, which automatically engages all-wheel drive only when required.
The 2005 model has a new chrome front grille, cylindrical-shaped headlights, new taillights and body-colored front and rear bumper design. It has newly designed foglamps, hard spare tire cover, chrome door handles, and body colored side mirrors as standard fittings.
Audio on the CRV has been upgraded to a new 6-CD stereo with MP3.
The digital trip display includes self-illuminating meter with fuel consumption gauge. The interior includes enlarged climate control switches, storage compartments for both driver and side passenger, chrome touches, door lining with book storage, and new metallic panel.
The new CRV complies with the stringent EURO4 emissions standard, and comes in four-wheel-drive and two-wheel-drive variants.
